A well- manicured lawn is the perfect answer to a wonderful summer. It is time for Barbecues, picnics and family fun. The answer to a good lawn is to fertilize your lawn with 3:2:1 every 6 weeks, watering well after application. Try cut the lawn twice a week if possible.
Never cut more than a third of the blade off. Should you miss a week or two of cutting then remember to set the mower higher so as to not cut off too much in one go.
Hydrangeas will benefit from a deep watering, as well as a good thick layer of mulch around them to keep the roots cool.
Remember to fertilize roses once a fortnight and spray them with a fungicide to prevent fungal diseases during the rainy season.
A HANDY TIP
Remember to clean out gutters before summer storms start.
